Re2O is one of the newer skin boosters coming out of Korea, and it takes a different approach from the ones patients may already know. Where most boosters prompt the skin to make more of its own collagen, Elravie Re2O supplies the building blocks directly. It has quickly become a treatment international patients ask about by name.

This guide explains what Re2O is, how it works, and how it compares with other boosters. It is written for international patients, and our English-speaking coordinators can help you plan before you travel.

What Re2O Is

Re2O (full name Elravie Re2O) is a skin booster built around the extracellular matrix, or ECM: the natural scaffold of collagen, elastin, and other proteins that gives skin its structure and gradually breaks down with age. Re2O is derived from a processed human dermal matrix, regulated in Korea, and is made up largely of collagen along with elastin and other ECM proteins. It is often described as a next-generation, or “fourth-generation,” ECM skin booster.

How It Works

Most skin boosters work indirectly: they stimulate your skin to produce collagen over time. Re2O works differently: delivered through fine micro-injections into the skin, it directly replenishes the extracellular matrix, restoring the scaffold rather than only prompting the skin to rebuild it. The aim is fundamental improvement in skin quality (firmness, elasticity, and resilience) from the structure up.

What Re2O Helps With

Re2O is most often considered for overall skin quality: loss of firmness and elasticity, thinning or crepey skin, dullness, and a tired, less resilient complexion. As a form of collagen skin hydration and support, it suits skin that has begun to lose its underlying structure rather than skin needing a change in shape.

Re2O, Rejuran, and Juvelook

These boosters are easy to confuse, so it helps to place them side by side. Rejuran uses polynucleotides to support repair and calm the skin; Juvelook uses PDLLA to stimulate new collagen; Re2O directly replenishes the ECM scaffold. They are different tools rather than rivals, and a doctor may use one or combine them depending on your skin. Our guides to Rejuran, Juvelook, and the skin boosters overview cover the wider picture.

What a Session Is Like, and What to Expect

Re2O is delivered as a series of small injections after a numbing cream, and a session is usually quick. Afterwards, small bumps or mild redness at the injection points are normal and generally settle within a day or two. Results are gradual, developing over the weeks that follow, and are usually planned as a short course. Like all boosters, the effect is not permanent (skin continues to age) so maintenance helps hold the improvement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Re2O?

Elravie Re2O is a skin booster built around the extracellular matrix: collagen, elastin, and related proteins. Rather than only stimulating your skin to make collagen, it replenishes the skin’s structural scaffold directly.

How is Re2O different from Rejuran or Juvelook?

Rejuran supports repair with polynucleotides and Juvelook stimulates collagen with PDLLA, both indirectly. Re2O directly supplies ECM components. They are complementary, and a doctor will advise which suits you.

Is there downtime?

Usually minimal, small bumps or mild redness at the injection points that settle within a day or two.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?

Results are gradual over the weeks after a course. They are not permanent, as skin keeps ageing, so maintenance helps hold the improvement.

Can international patients get help in English?

Yes. Our English-speaking coordinators support you from the first message through the consultation to aftercare, and you are welcome to message us on WhatsApp beforehand.
