Thermage FLX tips are single use. Each treatment starts with a new tip, and the system reads the tip to confirm it is genuine before energy is delivered. The device also keeps a record of the shots delivered during the session.

What a Thermage FLX Session Looks Like

Before treatment

Your skin is cleansed and the treatment area is marked with a temporary grid.

During treatment

Each pulse delivers a short burst of heat. The device cools the skin surface before, during and after each pulse, and adds a light vibration to help with comfort. Sensation varies by area and by person, and energy can be adjusted during the session.

After Thermage FLX

Thermage FLX works gradually. Collagen remodeling continues over the following months, and how skin responds differs for each person.

Mild redness, swelling or minor bruising may occur and usually settles within 2 to 3 days. The lifting aftercare further down this page applies.

Post-Treatment Precautions for Lifting Treatment

At Dr. E-Laser Dermatology,
we provide attentive aftercare to support your recovery after lifting treatment.

Avoid washing, makeup, sauna,
or steam rooms on the day of treatment.
Refrain from alcohol and smoking for at least 3 days.
Use moisturizer and sunscreen consistently.
Avoid facial massage and high-heat treatments for 1 week.
Mild swelling, redness, or minor bruising may occur
and typically resolve within 2–3 days.
